Tips to Make the Most of Your Visit to Amara Hair Studio & Spa

Booking Your Appointment
To ensure you get your preferred time, date, and service provider—especially for evenings and weekends—we recommend booking in advance.
To reserve your appointment, we kindly ask for a credit card or an Amara Hair Studio & Spa gift card. See below for our cancellation policy.
When booking, please let us know if you’re pregnant, have allergies, medical conditions, or any injuries. We’re happy to customize your experience to keep it safe, comfortable, and relaxing.
Need to Cancel or Reschedule?
Cancellation Policy
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations of single services and 48 hours for multiple services. Missed appointments without proper notice will incur a no-show fee equal to 100% of the scheduled service cost. This fee will be charged to your credit card or AMARA gift card on file. Alternatively, a 100% deposit will be required in advance to secure your next appointment

Cosmetic Consultation Deposit & Cancellation Policy with Andrea Howe (Medical Injections)
To ensure we provide every guest with the highest level of care and service, a $50 deposit is required when booking any consultation with Andrea Howe. This includes consultations for Botox, dermal fillers, IV Therapy, PRP, and other injectable treatments she provides.
The $50 deposit is due at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The deposit will be applied toward your treatment if you decide to receive a service on the same day as the consultation.
Please note that the deposit is non-refundable if:

Health and Medical Information
Some treatments may not be suitable based on certain medications, medical conditions, or recent surgeries. If you’re unsure, we recommend checking with your doctor beforehand and letting your service provider know—just to ensure the best and safest experience possible.
Choosing Your Service Provider
At Amara, every team member is highly trained, talented, and truly passionate about what they do. We’ll always do our best to pair you with your preferred provider when requested. However, life happens—whether it’s a sick day, vacation, or something unexpected—so we may occasionally need to adjust your appointment or assign an alternate team member to ensure you still receive the service you reserved.
We genuinely appreciate your flexibility and understanding!
Your Comfort Matters
Our team is here to make you feel totally relaxed and cared for. You’ll be discreetly covered during body treatments and massages, and we’ll always check in on things like lighting, music, and massage pressure.
If your treatment includes a rainfall shower, feel free to bring a bathing suit if that makes you more comfortable. And when it comes to undressing, go with what feels right for you.
A Peaceful Space for You to Unplug
We want you to feel like you’re hitting the reset button while you’re here. Please silence your phone and avoid watching videos, taking calls, or anything that might disturb the calm environment.
Little Guests (children under 12 years)
Our spa spaces are thoughtfully designed for rest and relaxation, so we kindly ask that children under 12 not accompany you during treatments or wait in the spa or lounge. But there’s some good news—every few months, we host special Kids' Days just for little ones ages 4–12! It’s a fun way for them to enjoy their own moment of pampering. Check our social media or contact Guest Services for the next scheduled date!
Gratuities
Tipping is totally up to you and always appreciated! A standard guide is 18%–20% if you loved your service, and don't forget to leave a Google Review!
When to Arrive
COMING SOON!
We recommend arriving about 15–20 minutes before your appointment so you can check in, unwind, and settle into our quiet lounge. Enjoy a tasty drink or snack (available for purchase) and start your visit off relaxed.
If you arrive late, we may need to shorten your service to avoid delaying the next guest—thank you for understanding!​​
